To protect patient safety and comply with applicable U.S. federal, state, and local laws, Skynova restricts the sale of certain professional-use products to verified licensed professionals. This Policy explains how we verify your credentials and govern access to restricted products.
1. License Verification Process
To request professional access, you must:
- Create a Skynova account and complete your professional profile.
- Upload a current, valid, and legible professional license or certification.
- Provide a government-issued photo ID matching the name on your license.
- Provide your business or clinic information, including practice address and contact details.
Skynova’s compliance team reviews submissions within approximately 24–48 business hours. Verification may include cross-referencing public license databases, contacting the issuing board, or engaging third-party verification providers.
2. Approved Professions
The following professions are typically eligible for professional access, subject to applicable scope-of-practice laws:
- Physicians (MD/DO)
- Nurse Practitioners (NP)
- Physician Assistants (PA)
- Registered Nurses (RN)
- Dentists (DDS/DMD)
- Licensed medical estheticians and clinical professionals where permitted by state law
- Other qualified practitioners explicitly authorized to purchase the requested product class
3. Document Review Procedures
- Documents must be clear, complete, unaltered, and currently valid.
- Documents in languages other than English or Spanish may require certified translation.
- Submitted documents are stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel.
- Skynova may request additional documentation at any point during review.
4. Verification Renewal
Professional credentials must remain current. You are responsible for uploading renewed license documents prior to expiration. Skynova may periodically re-verify professional status and may temporarily suspend access pending renewal.
5. Account Restrictions
While your application is pending or if it is denied, your account will retain general catalog access but will be blocked from purchasing professional-only products. Restricted products remain publicly visible in the catalog but require verified status to add to cart and purchase.
6. Revocation Rights
Skynova reserves the right to revoke, suspend, or downgrade professional access at any time and in its sole discretion, including in the event of:
- Expired, suspended, or revoked professional licenses.
- Submission of false, forged, or misleading documentation.
- Reports of unsafe practice, malpractice claims, or regulatory action.
- Violation of these Terms or any Skynova policy.
